Explanation specification sheets

In this section you can find the specification sheets of the current DAF model range. Simply click on the description and a pdf-file will be opened. Specification sheets are updated at each Model Year Change moment (production weeks 13 en 41, publication in week 51 and 25) and when there are changes to a model which affect the specification sheet. Updated specification sheets are identified via a new specification week.

In order to quickly find the specification sheets you need, you can make selections in these categories.

Spec date:
The DAF Product Range is periodical updated in order to meet customer requirements and to follow improvements in development and production. In order to be sure that you get the correct specification sheet for a certain delivery week, enter the date in the Spec date field and push the Refresh button.

Dimensions on specification sheets:
 Symbols are used on the specification sheets to indicate vehicle dimensions. An explanation of these symbols is given below.

AE Rear chassis overhang
- for 4x2 chassis: centre of rear axle to rear of chassis
- for 6x2 and 8x2 chassis: centre of rearmost axle to rear of chassis
- for 6x4 and 8x4 chassis: centre of tandem-axle unit to rear of chassis
BL Recommended outside body length
CB Rear of cab to front of superstructure
CE Rear of cab to rear of chassis
CH Top of chassis frame to top of cab (closed roof hatch)
HA Height of chassis at centre of driven axle or, on 6x4 and 8x4 chassis, at centre of tandem-axle unit
HV Height of chassis at centre of (first) front axle
KA Centre of driven rear axle or tandem-axle unit to centre of fifth wheel King pin
RB Width of chassis frame
SB Rear axle track
TB Overall width, including tyres (at rear)
TK Turning circle between kerbs
TL Overall length; from front of bumper to rear of chassis
TW Turning circle between walls
VA Front of bumper to centre of (1st) front axle
