Role Overview
As the Fleet Sales Director, you will be the driving force behind developing and consolidating customer relationships with all nominated accounts. You will lead the National Fleet Sales Team to achieve sales activities, volume, margin objectives, and DAF MultiSupport goals. This is a field-based role with regular travel within the UK and occasional trips to Europe, offering you the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and achieve an annual Fleet truck sales and DAF MultiSupport plan with specific volume and model type goals for each customer account.
- Proactively lead and support the Fleet sales team to maximize their potential and achieve sales actions, volume, and margin targets in conjunction with the dealer network.
- Ensure the National Fleet team can complete comprehensive tender documents and deliver presentations to their accounts.
- Provide support, direction, and hands-on involvement when closing significant deals.
- Conduct consolidated customer reviews involving After-Sales and Parts teams to leverage all existing relationships and secure business.
- Implement sales initiatives to support the transition from diesel to electric vehicles, helping DAF UK achieve its volume and margin objectives.
