A vital part of DAF’s UK customer care pledge commitment to UK operators is DAFcheck, our electronic vehicle maintenance records system to ensure DVSA compliance and protection of your Operator’s Licence. 

DAFcheck transforms the way in which regular vehicle inspections are carried out, stored, and communicated, and is available to our customers completely free of charge.

The benefits of DAFcheck:

• Customers can log into our dedicated website www.dafcheck.com to view the inspection and servicing details of their vehicles immediately following sign off at the dealership.
• Legible, concise records of the vehicle’s service history
• Service sheets are emailed to customers directly upon completion of an inspection
• Reduces administration and enables the customer to save, print, and distribute the data instantaneously
• It is constantly updated ensuring complete compliance with DVSA’s Operator Licencing requirements
• DAFcheck is linked to DAFaid, DAF’s UK roadside assistance service, alerting the technician of the vehicle’s next inspection and of any temporary repairs
• Customers who subscribe can register defects through the website which will be automatically included in the next vehicle inspection
• Subscribers can now scan their own documents relating to the vehicle into the DAFcheck system.
• DAFcheck is fully approved by the DVSA to align with the Earned Recognition scheme, which allows operators to prove that they comply with driver and vehicle standards.

DAFcheck Lite

DAFcheck Lite utilises the same system as DAFcheck for the DAF Dealer network and is available to operators who carry out their own servicing and repairs.

Features include:

• Electronic workshop planning and schedule tools
• Use of the workshop application to complete the digital service sheets
• Workshop control including the management of vehicles
• Issuing of reports
• Connection between DAFcheck (DAF Dealer), Subscriber portal, and truckCheck

truckCheck App

The truckCheck application is designed to help drivers and operators digitalise their daily pre and post checks as well as reporting defects whilst on the move.

The electronic walkaround application can be customised to an operator’s specific requirements and offers bespoke reporting. It is compliant with the DVSA Earned Recognition Scheme and provides an effortless way to prove your organisation meets both driver and vehicle standards.

truckCheck’s integration with DAFcheck enables defects to be reported directly to either the operator or the DAF Dealer and offers the ability to take photos of defects.
