Flegel Driving School relies on DAF for its new training truck

With locations in Schwarmstedt, Walsrode, and Celle, Flegel Driving School offers a major advantage: accessible and flexible training across Northern Germany for trucks, cars, and motorcycles.
The school recently added a 2025 DAF XG+ 450 FAN with BDF chassis and body to its truck training fleet. Featuring the largest cab on the market (12.5 m³), the XG+ delivers exceptional space and comfort, meeting the high expectations of both instructors and students.

The DAF XG+ comes with the largest cab currently available, offering both comfort and practicality for training purposes. It’s equipped with the DAF Digital Vision System and Corner View, which together provide a 270-degree view around the cab and trailer. This wide-angle visibility helps instructors and students stay aware of their surroundings and spot vulnerable road users more easily – an important feature during real-world driving exercises.
In addition, there is also outstanding direct visibility with the ultra-low window beltlines, the narrow A-pillars, the optional extra side and rear window for some cab variants, and the optionally available kerb view window on the passenger side. All this makes a DAF truck the current class leader in terms of safety. Another advantage is the low noise level in the cab itself, which enables a good conversation climate during driving lessons.
