The DAF LF FA 14-16t, which is available at 14t and 16t GVW, is ideal for recovery operations like retrieving stranded cars, vans or lightweight commercial vehicles (LCVs).

The LF provides best-in-class manoeuvrability, thanks to a very small turning circle, compact cab and narrow overall width.. This enables easy access to the stranded vehicle whilst the low chassis height makes it easier to load and unload. And thanks to a flexible chassis layout, with a wide range of possibilities in wheelbases, drivelines and chassis options it can be tailored to every possible car recovery body. Whether it is to be equipped with a crane, hoisting equipment, a hydraulic loading platform or a towing system, the LF chassis can be used for almost anything. Furthermore, there is ample free space on the LF chassis, making it very easy to create extra storage space on the chassis for various equipment, such as hydraulic jacks or workshop tools. The LF FA 14-16t also has a very low chassis weight and is therefore able to carry a high payload. This ensures that the LF FA 14-16t can easily carry any car or LCV and any auxiliary equipment without having to worry about overloading.
